NC 320

NC320 is a multifunctional graphic and character terminal designed for work in network systems based on the Ethernet standard. It provides an easy access to application and resident data on distant MS Windows, UNIX and Linux servers. It is highly reliable, because it doesn't contain any mobile parts.
Data processed by the NC320 terminal is safe all the time - during its work and even when it is shut down, because it is not stored in non-volatile memory of the terminal - all data processing takes place on the server and during connection to Windows system, provisional data streams sent by the network are additionally encrypted (according to a chosen level of security). The rest of problems considering data security are dependent exclusively on servers' configuration.
The additional protection of sensitive information worked out on the terminal post is available by means of a screen saver that, in case of an attempt to return to session, always requests from user to enter the password (each time declared at the start of the terminal). The screen saver is activated by the timer (maximal idle time can be set by the user with 1 minute precision). The screen saver can be also activated at any time, manually - by the combination of keys.
An access to configuration interface of the terminal is given only to administrator that possess the appropriate password - so it is not possible to enter any changes in program settings by an accident or by purpose or even read them without permission (network addresses as well).

Flash memory (containing operating system and configuration data) is inaccessible for applications during normal work of the terminal.
